HomeBook Tours, Appearances, ReadingsUpcoming Fall Events: Celebrating Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy

Now that the summer sun is waning, it’s time to turn my attention to fall activities. Some of the events planned so far are September 9 interview on Coffee Time Romance and two multi-author blog tours, all with some great prizes.

My big news is that Breakwater Beach, prequel to The Widow’s Walk, will be released in early 2016. There are more details on the Unfinished Business Series tab right here. Or subscribe to my newsletter and get updates, plus a PDF download of Haunted, which features a short story version of Breakwater Beach.

Now I’ve switched gears to urban fantasy, and Boulevard of Bad Spells and Broken Dreams. The weekend of September 12 and 13 I will be at a plotting retreat with Mary Buckham, hammering out an outline for the second book in the series. The first, Void of Course, is looking for a good home. The second will focus on Taina and Arnaldo and the fallout after the epic Battle of the Bronx. If you’d like a taste of what’s in Void of Course, check out the Ten Tales anthologies, Seers, Beltane, and Bites to meet the characters. In The Ultimate Test,  Aramis Sauros becomes a vigilante to fight the drug dealers and pimps terrorizing Washington Heights, just across boro lines in Upper Manhattan.

I’m looking forward to the rebirth of Lunacon in March 2016, and hope to be participating in panels and at a Rapid Fire Reading with Broad Universe.

About Carole Ann

Carole Ann Moleti lives and works as a nurse-midwife in New York City, thus explaining her fascination with all things paranormal, urban fantasy, and space opera. Her nonfiction, ranging from sweet and sentimental to edgy and irreverent, focuses on health care, politics, and women's issues. But her first love is writing science fiction and fantasy because walking through walls is less painful than running into them. Carole's short fiction has been featured in a variety of speculative fiction venues, most recently the Toil Trouble and Temptation Anthology from Mocha Memoirs Press. Her review and commentary has appeared in Lightspeed, The Internet Review of Science Fiction, Tangent Online, The Portal, and The Fix. Short stories set in the world of her novels are featured in Haunted: Ten Tales of Ghosts, Bites: Ten Tales of Vampires, Beltane: Ten Tales of Magic, and Seers: Ten Tales of Clairvoyance. The first book in Carole's Cape Cod paranormal romance novel series, The Widow's Walk, was published by Soulmate in November 2014. Her memoir, Someday I'm Going to Write a Book: Diary of an Urban Missionary, chronicles a career as a public health professional in some of the City's most dangerous areas, including the South Bronx, Harlem, and Washington Heights. The title of Carole's mommy memoir, Karma, Kickbacks and Kids, is self-explanatory. Award winning excerpts have been published in a variety of literary venues, including Oasis Journal, This Path, A Quilt of Holidays, The Shifts Anthology and the Not Your Mother's Books: On Being a Woman and On Being a Parent.
